Popular Interior Design Styles

In today's post, I'll be giving you a quick run-down on the many different interior design styles that are popular today. 

What is mostly in style today is sleek, simple, and modern with lots of gray, white, and black tones. This interior design style is referred to as Modern. Modern interior design is focused on lines and an important principle is a form follows function. This means that everything should be functional rather than looking for aesthetics. 

Another popular interior design style is Modern Farmhouse. As the name states, modern farmhouse is a mix between modern and farmhouse style interior design. A staple of a modern farmhouse interior design is having large dining tables as a farmhouse style home is focused on farm life. 

The las interior design style I'll be mentioning is Shabby Chic. This interior design style originated in Britain and focuses on mixing different textures and vintage furniture pieces. This style is definitely not for everyone as some may find it to be too much.
