My Favorite Interior Design Styles

 My two favorite interior design styles are Mid-Century Modern and Bohemian.

Like I mentioned in a prior post, Dakota Johnson's LA Mid-Century Modern home sparked my obsession with interior design. From her living room to her signature green kitchen, to her office, this home is the perfect example of the Mid-century Modern feel. My favorite part about her home is the use of vintage and modern furniture. As you can see in the picture below, her living room has two couches and two chairs, the chairs are different but they work cohesively. Her office offers beautiful natural lighting that creates a cozy yet productive space. And how could I not mention the green kitchen, the cabinets are the perfect green color that is inviting and vibrant at the same time. The accents in the kitchen at the green theme. 

Bohemian interior design is one of my favorites for many reasons. The mix of patterns, incorporating lots of botanicals, and the different layers of decorative items draw me in. Boho uses Asian rugs as accents, which are my favorite types of rugs. At home, we have three different Asian rugs, maybe that is why I love them so much.
